Oh God! Could you imagine?!?!?! An ear infection AND new braces??? The horror! I see my doctor for a checkup on Thursday so I'll ask then. I don't have a fever so I think I am infection free, just irritated but I'll nip it in the bud before it gets ugly.

Thanks! It is hard to tell if it's the braces or allergies. I also suffer with bad allergies so I am wondering what the cause is. However, I work with 3 people who have worn braces as adults and they have all said that they had sinus issues from their teeth moving. Go figure!

It's good to hear that it will not be all misery! My sister wears braces now (she's the one who told me about this site) and she says the same thing. I have just taken Bayer and that seems to help. The only annoying this is I can't chew hard things like yummy candy! Oh well, it's worth it!

You guys are So lucky to not have too much pain from the spacers. I got mine yesterday and I am in agony. I took some Bayer but it didn't help. I looked so silly chewing my my front teeth today!
