Re: FAGGA appliance
I’m looking at this too. Seems like a direct approach with predictable results but a little uncomfortable with all the hardware. I am looking for a doctor in the LA area who does this. Where/who is your doctor that presented it to you? Do you still have room for tongue on Palate with the fagga on? ...

Re: FAGGA appliance
The dentist is recommending it for my 15 year old son. The dentist himself is wearing the FAGGA appliance. He is an adult. My concern is not, can it be employed in an adult (he has shown me photos of the aesthetic results). My concern is the dental/bite results and the dental safety. There was some ...

Has anyone used a sagittal appliance to move incisors forward? If so, have you had success or problems?

Re: mRNA Appliance Question
I am not an orthodontist but I believe that bite blocks can intrude molars so the lower jaw can move forward, which if over intruded can cause a posterior open bite. Look up the mechanics of fixing an anterior open bite, you can probably find a better explanation.

Re: Post extractions - Dished in mouth!CONFUSIOUS
Confusious, can you please tell me how far forward incisors and canines can be moved forward to provide better lip support? My sons face was ruined. He did not have extractions, but he had spaces between his teeth that needed to be closed. His teeth were retracted. It pushed his entire lower face ba...

Can you please tell me how Invisalign is being used to reverse your extractions? Are you having your arch expanded forward and sideways?

Re: Those who have been in braces for 3 years or more
To jumptheditch, I am not sure you are still active and cannot send a pm yet. I was wondering what your final results are? I have a consult for my son to get the FAGGA appliance which is very much like the CD advancer, maybe the same. I was wondering if you are pleased with your smile and if you had...

braces ruined my sons face
I am sorry to be another dissatisfied and angry person on here, but my son had retractive orthodontics and his face became so much more unattractive. He now has jowls, and pushed back jaw, the side of his cheekbones grew very wide and the bottom of his cheeks are gone. He now looks like a mouth brea...
