So I just got my braces put on yesterday, and today I noticed 3 small marks in the very front of my archwire (the wire itself, not on the ligatures or brackets). Is it possible to stain/chip archwires? I know ligatures are at greatest risk of stains, but Googling doesn't show any posts about the wir...

Got mine today, at the ripe old age of 38. Better late than never, I guess!
