My last adjustment was last week... and I really considered getting red or green ligs but of course I chickened out. I can't do it! I'm almost a year into my braces and all I've worn are white ligs...I'm too self-conscious I guess!

Okay, so I haven't posted in a very, very long time. I apologize. Things have been so crazy. January will be 1 year in braces for me...today was my 11th adjustment. So just to recap what's been going on in my mouth, I graduated to heavier wires this summer...then my ortho has made me wear elastics f...

I agree with the previous posters. There is definitely movement going on even when you don't see it.

I haven't seen much movement for months now, and as frustrating as it is, I know things are changing...we just have to be patient I guess.

I agree. I'm positive you would have to pay a bit more... My ceramics costed 500$ more so expect about that...

Also, keep in mind that not everyone can get ceramics...so definitely talk to your ortho.

I had extractions and they weren't as expensive...but it depends on where you live, your dentist's asking price, etc... The most I paid for an extraction was 160$ because it turned out to be a complicated removal. My other two costed me 70$ each. Your price is kinda high...maybe you could ask why it...
