I haven't had to do that but I did consider putting wax over the ligs and brackets on the 6 clear brackets on my top teeth. I was wondering if I did that before drinking my morning coffee if it would keep them from staining.

Congratulations! I just had my braces put on last week. For me the worst day was the day after and after that it got a little better each day. I hope you have the same experience.

Hmmm, a lig might fit over everything. Maybe they could put them on and if it popped off anyway it wouldn't be that big of a deal. It would just mess up your color scheme
