I was looking at my teeth the other night and noticed that same thing. I am guessing that it's been there for a long time but I never look so closely at them before. I does cause worry.

That's my kind of breakfast, yum! My teeth aren't fitting together at all right now but I still manage to somehow eat tortilla chips. I can't wait until it's not such a chore.

I pretty much learn everything here. My ortho is not chatty by any means but he will give me a quick answer if I ask a question. He looks in my mouth then tells the assistant what to do. If I don't understand what he is telling her I ask him and he explains. Most of the time I know what he is talkin...

Sorry that you had to be re-braced John. I can't imagine the shock. In the future you will be happy you went ahead and had them put back on. Do they charge you again when something like that happens?

Congratulations on making the decision to get braces! You're going to do great. I just turned 39 last week. I have 3 small children and I think that helps so much to make the time go by faster. You'll have so much going on with the baby that you won't think about your braces as much. There is defini...

I don't bite into anything either. I either cut it or rip it depending on what I'm eating and put it in the back of my mouth. It's worked fine so far.

I never had a gap in my life before I had braces. Since braces I've had two different gaps in my upper arch and now I have a huge gap on the lower arch. The upper gaps are gone now and were fixed with power chains. The lower gap just opened up since my last adjustment. I assume I will have a power c...

But I've also read that changes in bite can sometimes either set it off in someone who did not do it before, or stop it in someone who used to. I've been clenching my teeth recently too. I never used to do it. My bite is majorily off now and I think that is why I am clenching. It wakes me up too an...

I have a clear powerchain and haven't had any problems with staining. I do drink my coffee with a straw so that helps. That is the only change I made but I do have to add that I don't eat too many staining foods. I haven't had to wear my powerchains more than 5 weeks at a time either.
