I live in the UK and have Damon 3 braces, I have crowding but haven't had any extractions. I've only had the braces on for about 2 months, but already my arch has widened and started to create space for my wonky teeth. My ortho uses Damon, ceramic, invisalign and of course traditional metal braces. ...

I'm getting married in July, and will be wearing my braces. I won't bother getting them taken off and put back on again, because I hated having the brackets stuck on and don't want to go through that again in a hurry! I've used them too and found them to be very good

All of the UK has fluoride in tap water.

I've not had any extractions but my ortho hasn't totally ruled it out, he is just fairly confident that he can do the job without extractions.

I ordered a tube of Brace-eze and had the same problem, it was really hard to squeeze out of the tube. I didn't like using it at all, I much prefer traditional wax.

I'm interested to read this thread. I haven't had extractions, my ortho says he is pretty confident he can get my teeth sorted without extractions but that he may rethink a bit further down the line. I've had my braces since 10th Feb and I can't see any movement yet. I can feel things happening, my bite has changed everso slightly, but nothing visible so far. Last night one of my lower front teeth started to feel tender, so I hope that means it is on the move!
