I need an opinion. Or a few :)

My second tooth on the lower left side is halfway stuck behind the first tooth. Just yesterday I had a spring placed on the two surrounding teeth to spread them out and make room for it...but for the fourth time. Every time they use the spring, they remove it at the next adjustment and hook the toot...

Have you talked with your ortho? Maybe there are problems that need to be addressed and you don't realize it. I'm sure the ortho is leaving them on for a reason.

As far as I know powerchains are for closing gaps. I really don't know any other purpose they serve.

Based on my experience I'm going to say yes it's normal. I have a tooth on my lower arch (same side actually, but the second tooth) that is rotated just as badly but it is half stuck behind my front tooth. They put in a spring to make space for it to come foward and afterwards hook it to the wire, a...

My ortho isn't the most personable, KK knows that. Today he gave me some exciting news though, which totally smashed all the things I said about him not telling me what's up. Today he said that there was a tooth on my top arch that was angled too sharply, and he was going to put a special bracket on...

I bought the nice little cheapo Power Flosser for $6.99 at Walgreen's. It does a great job so far (I've only had it 2 days) but it does make my lips feel all weird and vibraty after I use it.

How long does it take for gaps to close?

You'd think after so long with braces I'd know this, but I never really payed too much attention. I've got a large gap between my second and third tooth on the right side of the upper arch. I mean, I can stick my tongue through it. Today a power chain was placed again, and the smaller gaps between m...

Possible Overjet?

When I bite my top teeth completely cover my lower brackets; they don't bang into them. My ortho never mentioned this phenomenon but another member suggested overjet. Unfortunately I have problems with my camera in that it doesn't produce clear photos so I can't show you. If this is a possible overj...

I'd do 4 weeks. The more often you can go back for adjustments, the quicker it will be.

In theory.

I've been working on the pics thing. I've got me a little cheapo digital camera, and all that's turning out so far are blurry pics with shiny spots in them  Based on the picture though, it could be overjet, but it doesn't look as extreme as the photo does. I mean it really doesn't bother me as ...

They haven't told me anything if that's their plan. The only thing they suggested before treatment was a possible surgery on my upper arch. I went for a checkup today and he told me that all is doing great, I just need to get that one tooth on my lower arch to go where it needs to be. If I don't get...

Odd question

I don't know if this is because I'm still in braces or perhaps it's just how my mouth is, but when I bite, the bottom of my top teeth nearly cover the brackets on my bottom teeth. I do know that I have a very small lower arch and a comparitively large upper arch, but I'm noticing in many pictures of...

Had them for four years, treatment time unknown. Apparently I've got a lot of teensy problems that take a lot of time to fix.

Yeah let me know, seriosuly. I don't know if maybe it's just me that got that weird feeling. I had to bite twice to get just one put on: the first time it pushed the inside down, the second time pushed the outside down.
