I'm devastated. I had SARPE Nov. 18th. Surgery went well. Surgeon activated expander with a resulting diastema. I started turning the expander like a week post-op, and my diastema was growing. About a week into it, the expander "jammed". The key would NOT Budge. I exterted so much pressure...

Basically wondering about how much time you took off of work for this. I have a relatively physical job in that I am on my feet all day and lifting up to 50 lbs... Worried about this

It's apparently not allowed, in case anyone is wondering.. At least at the hospital I'd be getting the surgery at. You cannot be alone for 72 hours after leaving the hospital, and you cannot leave alone
