Hi

I have read threads (but cant find them now) that mention you can buy hooks that you can use to help put elastics on. Where could i buy these from in the UK?

Hi

My overjet\bite is about 10mm, ive had two top teeth out and the ortho said he will use the brace to move them back 5mm or so, then im too have jaw surgery!!

My ortho said it would be 18months. The dentist whos doing my jaw surgery said it would be more like 3 years - im hoping 18months :)

I wanted ceramics on both top and bottom but the ortho said i had to have metal on the bottoms because my top teeth would keep hitting the bottom brackets if they were ceramics. I ordered Monday got the wax today (wednesday)

Not as many strips in as the ones my ortho gave well sold me but there bigger.

ALso got some braz eez - aint tried it yet!

They also gave me a free travel toothbrush

Ill recomend anyone who gives me stuff for nothing!

Well done Kel and all.

Mine have been in since last friday, my teeth are still tender and my gums are pretty shredded but every days gets a bit better.

Still feels wierd when im talking to new people but with time ill probably forget there there.

The hooks dont have bobs on them, i think my Orphdontist is getting me back for being annoyed at home because he put metal braces on my bottoms when he origionally said he would put ceramics on both bottom and uppers.

Oh well, ill live - hopefully!! has anyone died because of there braces??
