What sorts of things would you recommend for travelling overseas for about 2 weeks. I will not be changing aligners in the middle (I should change them about 4 days before we return, but I'd rather wait and my ortho agrees). I have 17 on the top and 12 on the bottom. I thought my bottom teeth were worse than the top, but apparently not. Fit of Invisalign vs retainers
I just had 3 months of 6 teeth in "regular" braces. Now I have those clear plastic retainers while I wait for my Invisalign (in 4-8 weeks). I can't put my teeth together at all while I'm wearing the retainers....I can stick my tongue through the gap inbetween top & bottom in the front....

It took my braces almost 2 weeks to totally stop hurting (from the first time I got them, in early Jan). And last night I was clenching my teeth, so one side hurts again :-( I just lived off of soft foods, mostly a lovely tuna casserole I've just perfected (due to making it so often), mashed potatoe...
