It would be really helpful if someone posted links to pictures of cases where extractions ARE recommended, and where they aren’t recommended. I’m being told conflicting things about my extractions by orthodontists right now and I feel lost. It’s hard to determine if it’s in my best interest or not.

I’m a 29 year old man and I’m getting braces next week! I do feel like I see more adult women with braces than men but it’s completely anecdotal and I imagine the distribution is close to 50/50

I run a mix of vinegar and peroxide through mine periodically!

Curious if there has been any updated data to this? I’ve been reading about acceledent and I’m skeptical to say the least. I wouldn’t worry as much with this potentially smaller investment

I feel as though they look quite straight but the size differences distract from the overall aesthetic. I have different size teeth as well so this is something I’ve been wondering about

Related to this topic, I’m curious if a bracket pops off how urgent it is to get it reatttached. Is it something you need to get done right away, or can you wait a few weeks until your next adjustment?

Just turned 29 a few days ago and I’m about to take the plunge. I wish I got them sooner but I’m excited nonetheless!
