i just got done with an adjustment today, andi'm allergic to latex, and i get elastics at my next adjustment. and my ortho told me that she knows for a fact there are latex free elastics.

i got braced today!

hi poloaa! i just had those teeth pulled the other day. i was really nervous before i went. i basically freaked out.but i was better when i got there, anyways. all the dentist did was numb me up, and i sat there for like 10 mins til i got really numb, he came in pulled them both out with in 10 minut...

i had my last wisdom tooth extracted today, and i had an oral surgeon do it (because of the postion of it, and it was impacted), and in costed me over $600. because they had to sedate me. but it would of been $275 if my dentist pulled it and it just being numbed up.. if it wasn't impacted my dentist...

i'm supposed to get braced by the end of february.. depending on when my extractions are scheduled... grrr.. i am not looking forward to that part.. but i'm excited about finally getting braces..

thanks for the responses! :D i am kinda leaning towards the ceramics. it's only $200. more. which is not bad compared to what other people i know have payed for them. but i love the look of metal braces. i feel if i get metal ones they might make people think i am alot younger than i really i am. pe...
