I can totally relate! Ever since I got braces I find myself staring at everyone's teeth thinking, there teeth would look so nice if only they got braces. Before I had braces I would think everyone but me had perfect teeth.

I wouldn't worry too much about it either. There are a lot of people I know who had braces and their teeth shifted because they didnt' wear the retainer. I share the same fear but as long as you wear your retainer you should be fine.

I can totally relate. My tongue feels like it has less room than before. My bottom teeth also seem like they have been pushed back more. I have braces on my top and bottom teeth. My face has also changed dramatically as well. Not sure if it's permanent. I hope not.

Ice cream and any liquid meal won't do the trick. I tried to live off of shakes and ice cream and I kept losing weight. Solid foods are the only things that will help. You have to wait til your teeth adjust to the braces. It really sucks!!!

My bone structure has definitely changed. My ortho says I just lost a lot of weight but I have been thinner before and never looked like this. My cheeks literally stick out and it looks as if I'm sucking in my cheeks. I feel more insecure now than I did with crooked teeth!
