The night before I got braced I had a nightmare. I dreamed that the dentist pulled four teeth without anesthesia.

I am approaching the week timeline you are at (braced on 02-08-06) and I have no pain, or any trouble talking. I still have not had anything to eat except soup and mashed potatoes, but I am feeling great now.

Thanks for all the information. This board has been a big help and I am greatful to have found a community that is really willing to share the knowledge.

In my personal opinion, this is why I would probably have waited until a couple of weeks after wisdom tooth removal before I would get my braces put on, though I'm sure you were excited to get the process started. I have searched but seems like molar bands are in every thread. I have been in braces for three days now. I am recently braced and I had my braces put on then four extractions.

I bit my ortho while he was putting on the brackets. I was embarassed but he just laughed about it. I was numb from getting four extractions at the time so I could not even speak to say I am sorry. It just came out as mumbo -jumbo.
