AWESOME Micheal!!! This gives me hope!! I wonder if after I wear them and I'm told I can stop doing so if I'll still wear them to bed at night, just for the heck of it  Nah, it's probably not wise to go against the rules since they have it all planned out for us!! :)

Monrena is right. When I began the elastic process, it barely hurt the first few hours. Shortly thereafter I began feeling the pressure and then has problems with the elastics rubbing against my cheeks and causing them to chafe. The more you put them in and change them, the easier the process become...

It's my newest infatuation and my tongues playmate, especially when I get nervous  What was it like wearing it for 7 months? Did you notice ...

This sounds very similar to my wisdom tooth ordeal. I had some complications, so my pain was very severe for about a week and a half, but thankfully yours went smoothly! Like you, I was very nauseous afterwards (I sat in front of the toilet too!), I bled pretty excessively those first 3 days and co...

Got the dreaded extraction

....and it was a breeze. The extraction that it. The aftermath was brutal. Join me as I float back to last Friday: I had an 8 o'clock appt and was told not to eat for at least six hours before. Needless to say, I was starving by the time the extraction was complete! I went the Nitrous oxide (laughi...

Whenever I want to be naughty and eat curry or chili, I have it a day or two before getting my bands changed

Love the clear on clear though, ppl dont notice that I'm braced on top until they look clooooosely.

Spacey Teeth/Gaps all around

For years I've had spacey teeth. I havent noticed that many people with them. Mine are like tiny little squares, chicklets of sorts  Anyone here with braces to close their gaps? (I say gaps, not a single gap) I have mine to correct my overbite but I DO NOT want to get rid of the spaces, my ort...

I had my braces put on in September and I wont have my teeth extracted until next week. Let see, that'll make a full 5 months before actually getting an extraction AFTER having braces put on.

Lucy was right, everyone IS different.

Good luck to you my friend!

Sorry to be negative about nitrous oxide but I had a most unpleasant experience with it, some years ago. I had rammed a huge flake of paint under my thumbnail and the hospital decided to remove it under nitrous oxide. I felt every move they made but was unable to make any sign that iIwas in agony a...
