Hi Yoda! Don't worry, it does get better! I felt that way when I got my braces on a couple weeks ago. I couldn't eat anything, I was so sore, I couldn't bite down... but you do get used to them and the pain subsides. Hang in there!

Hi Kourtney! I got braced on March 1. :-) I can't answer your question about expanders and spacers, as I didn't have either of those things. But rest assured, the "installation" is not bad at all. I was pretty nervous, but it ended up being a breeze. Good luck, and welcome to the forums! :D
