Oh yeah, I got an upgraded stainless steel wire on my bottom teeth too...I'm moving up in the world!!!

No my teeth weren't sore before hand. I told someone the other day that my braces hadn't been painful as everyone says they are...I spoke to soon. And to think I requested the wire ties...just didn't know what I was getting myself into, lol. Just pray the pain goes away shortly.

[Do you give them an answer that day or do you go home and think about it and make another appt? If you answer yes that day do they go ahead and put in spacers or do you come back for that? About how long after the consult do you actually have the braces put on? Also, I definitely want the ceramics ...

Just got home from having my first adjustment and this time I asked the orthodontist about those talked about wire ties and I got them (nobody said how painful they are at first :-(( ) but at least now I can eat as I please without worrying about my pearl ligs turning fluorescent green. :-#) http://...

I noticed that they sell it at Wal-mart. It is quite expensive though running about $12. Hope this helps

I have clarity brackets on top with pearl colored ligs and metal on the bottom. I've been braced for a lil over 2 weeks and have had no problems with my ligs changing colors. I just remember to brush or at least rinse my mouth out as soon as I finish eating.
