Great news, congrats! Mine have been on my two front teeth (only) for over a year now just to keep them from spreading apart. I get them off soon but have to wear another metal device to keep my space from returning. Then in a few years I'm getting dental implants to replace my (geneticall...

Hey BraceFace15! I've had my braces for almost a year and I've got a lisp. I feel like it'll be there forever since my front upper & lower teeth don't meet anymore. I'm hoping this changes cos it's been really getting on my nerves for the last few month :GapToothed: Thanks for responding, Vanil...

Permanent lisp??

I've had braces for a year, and a removable appliance for a couple of months now. Will the lisp ever go away? You'd think my teeth would be adapted to these things by now! Especially since I talk all the time. Anyone else having this problem?

Thank you very much for the encouraging words, KK! :D

I'm only braced partially on the top; I guess I have to wear them until I qualify for the dental implants to keep my front teeth from spreading apart.
