This things is killing me. My tongue now has a very painful indentation on it. I have no clue what to do.

I also had #5 and #12 removed and my ortho is trying to let the gaps close with out powerchains. I have had these gaps for two months now and now I am suppose to get bands on my back teeth. No mention of trying to close the gaps. I'm starting to worry.

If there is a canker sore club, then I think that I qualify. I have only been braces for a short period of time but I get one or two a week now. When the sore is right below my lower canines, it hurts the worst. I just hope I don't have to deal with this for the next two and a half year.

The only people I ever see in braces (adults, teens or kids) all seem to be almost done with their treatments. Their teeth look so straight. So then I really don't want to open my mouth at all. I feel like people are staring at my mouth.

It will be a little over two months before my first adjustment almost 10 weeks. I have been scanning the post and noticed that most people have adjustments every four to six weeks. Is this normal?
