OK, I just had a stick of celery with some dip here at work, and OMG, that was the WORST thing I could have eaten with these braces! I was picking out strings of slimy celery all morning!

Hey there! I too suffer from headaches, but I don't get any more than usual since I got my braces on. But I am supposed to be getting elastics here soon, so that story might change. I hear the elastics can be very uncomfortable, so I hope I don't get any more from those! Good luck with your treatment!

I have them too on all my bands, and there is no mention of any headgear for me either..... so it must just be a "standard" on all molar bands. They are rubbing a little bit now on my tongue, but other than that, they don't really bother me. Good luck with your treatment!

Since my teeth have been shifting, my braces are now rubbing my tongue raw! I have huge sores on both side of my tongue, and it feels kinda like I burnt my tongue. It's been sore now for about 2 weeks. Any hints as to what to do to relieve the rubbing?
