Well, they said up to 15 months. I have a feeling I will be back to normal in about 6-8, but I want to leave them on a bit longer, because I also feel that they took them off too early. So I went back to the ortho to show him how much my lower mid line has moved since taking off braces. We decided to get me back into the braces right away. I slacked on wearing my retainer the first 4 weeks off. Big No No, not I'm paying for it. Guys make sure you wear that thing religously. So back...

ahh, ok. We are in the same boat than. I have an appointment on tuesday. I'm quite embarrased to walk in there and ask to get them back on, but my teeth have moved quite a bit.

i just had all 4 taken out for 2,000.

I had an underbite. Saw about 5 othodontists who all said I need surgery, finally found one who said he can fix it aobut 80% with braces.

Turns out he fixed in 100%, however I think he took them off too soon and my crossbite has come back.

Did the final treatment fix your teeth for good.. or have they shifted again..

I woudl hate to get them on and off again to have them shift.

I think a sufficient amount of time should keep them locked in position though.

Ya I've worn it 95% of the time as told.

I feel that we took them off to early and the rubber band treatment should of went on for another couple of months and then wore the braces without rubberbands for several more to see if the teeth move.

Tell me that it is common for this: I had braces for about 1 1/2 years due to a cross bite. The ortho got the bite and teeth so straight and perfect with rubber bands. Now I have had them off for a year and the cross bite is back and my bite is out of wack. Not nearly as bad as before, but I know it...
