I go back to the ortho on the 5th. I'll be sure to ask whats the point in them then. Till then I guess I'll just sit and wonder what they're for

mmm im not sure if its the cleats that are bothering me but heres a pic for reference. as u can see they arent small like the other cleats so im not sure what they're for

So i've had my top braces on for about a week and im starting to wonder what the molar bands are for. i have 2 on each side of my top teeth and 1 on each side of the bottom. the 2 extra ones i guess on the top, they are like sticking out on the inside of my teeth. Now im wondering what is the point ...

flora2006, im being treated for crowding and an overbite. The ortho said it would be about 24 months

Today was the day i got braces on!! im going to miss eating all those good things i cant have oh well i guess i'll just have to adapt. i walked into a resturant today, and thought everyone was staring at my teeth.

what has everyone else felt like when you first got your braces??

Alright, so I just got my spacers in a few days ago, and I think accidently picked one out with my finger!! I should of just left it alone but I guess I just couldn't leave it alone. So anyways, should this be anything to worry about or should i just leave it? I go in 2 or 3 days to get my top brace...
