I'd say it would depend on your doctor and the tech that helps him. Mine took 1 hr. 15 minutes for ceramics top and bottom and that was trying three or four different molar bands. Couldn't get one to fit right. Plus, if they like to talk with you ... chat a bit ... like mine does ... takes a while.

I was braced on Tuesday and haven't had any pain. The only problem is the braces rubbing on the inside of my mouth and it feeling a bit sore. But I've been waxing my whole mouth at night and rinsing with salt water. I'm sure it will get better.

Good vibrations is a device you put in your mouth for 15 minutes before the pain starts. They say to use it right after adjustments. go to www.smileshop.com and go to brace relief and they have it on there. I think it's 19.00. Seems to be working so far.
