Thanks KK! :D I would have thought that the silver would have stained! Plus I will admit it is a bit more boring than blue or purple! Maybe I'll start with blue! Thanks again!

Question for coffee lovers with power chains!

I will be going Monday for my 3rd adjustment and will most likely be getting a powerchain on the top. I love my daily cup (or more) of coffee, tea, and cola and worry about staining or discoloration. I don't mind color as long as it's not too flashy and was wondering what colors have worked best for...

Congrats to you and your hubby on the pregnancy Jenn! :jump: I'm not trying to scare you as I'm sure all is fine but be careful taking the ibuprofen while pregnant! You may want to ask your Dr. about that as I was advised against taking it. Good luck on your braces journey and have a happy and healt...

Thanks Weird-wired! It's been about a week with the Sensodyne and I think I am starting to feel some relief. I had a pretty good day with it yesterday so we'll see how today goes. That tooth has actually moved back to where it was pre-braces so my bite is more comfortable and I'm not hitting that to...

Thanks KK! I guess I should just use it at night and use a regular brush during the day. It's $30 for 2 replacement heads and at the rate I'm going I would have to replace them every 2 weeks. $30 a month for brush heads is a bit much to me!

Sonicare Brushhead Replacement

How often do you have to replace your Sonicare Brush heads? I use mine 3 times a day and have only had mine for 2 1/2 weeks and it already looks pretty rough. Should I not use it so many times a day? I just feel like my mouth is much cleaner using it vs. a regular toothbrush.

My pain seems to be coming from one single tooth although it radiates through that entire side of my jaw. As I said before that tooth has had significant movement in the past 2-3 days. I called my ortho and he told me to come in to be sure it wasn't something serious. He took an x-ray to be sure eve...

Question about severe pain and movement UPDATE!

I have been braced for 2 weeks and have had quite a bit of movement. Yesterday I woke up unable to bite down correctly because my bottom right premolar had moved overnight and it hits my upper teeth. It is pretty sore to chew food on it. This morning I took a sip of almost room temp water and it hur...

I was about to post a very similar question! I didn't just have an adjustment though. I have been braced for 2 weeks and have had quite a bit of movement. It is interesting they say orthodontics can help migraines. I just got braced May 23rd and I have had a migraine since! I guess it could be coincidence but I wondered if it was from the braces. I finally gave in and took a Midrin this morning and it did seem to help, thank goodness!

I'm sorry you are feeling so low. I got braced yesterday and I am quite sore today also. I have been taking ibuprofen to help take the edge off as recommended by my ortho. Maybe that would help you. This is my second time in braces so I know from before that it will get better! As for eating, others...
