I have about every retainer imaginable in my arsenal! lol I have upper and lower bonded retainers from canine to canine...a removable upper Hawley...a Damon splint to wear at...

Guess I am the only one who HAS had speech probs with the bonded retainer. No...I don't think they would want you to wait 6 weeks to get that fixed;) That is a long time for that tooth to miss out on movement! Plus, if you have an archwire change scheduled for your next appt. they might not be able to progress to your next archwire if that tootj isn't where they expect it ...

Tongue thrust is definitely one tricky thing to treat...When I first had braces in junior high I had the tongue spurs...they definitely won't teach ya to not let your tongue push! lol

After removing your c-chain, they lace those same brackets in order to keep spaces from re-opening.
