Hi everyone. Haven't logged on in a while but wanted to post this update. I just had my last adjustment today, and my ortho told me they're coming off next visit---which is three weeks away. I am excited about taking them off, but already I know I'm going to miss them. Hard to believe that two years...

Try using the eraser end of a pencil to gently press the pointy edges in a bit. My ortho told me I could do that without damaging the wires. I do this and also use the wax, and it works for me.

I also thought about getting invisalign but decided against it because of the cost. When they were first put in they were a bit uncomfortable and I didn't think they were that bad. But by midway through the second day they really began to hurt.
