my orthodontist is also a family friend/my dad's friend so he gets along with me quite well and talks to me.

how long did you have springs for?

so im guessing it will be double the pain with 4 springs? oh dear...

join the club.... i go to a dental hospital and have students working on me who don't even know what their doing most of the time...

do springs hurt?

I couldn't say my S's properly when I first got my braces on.

maybe the ortho wants to use a different method to close extraction gaps, like looping wires or something

thanks a lot 4 ure help guys.. just 1 question. why would they put hooks in if the springs were to come 2 months later? couldn't they put the hooks and the springs in 1 appointment? thanks again

i have the type of hooks which are attached to the archwire not the brackets....

I've had these 4 hooks put in a few days ago for the springs im going to get and they have been really painful. I've used nearly all my supply of wax and have got about 3 blistering ulcers.. any advice please?

im getting springs to close my 4 extraction gaps on my 4th adjustment on july the 4th.

well for me they were quite sensitive.
