I've had my upper first bicuspids and lower 2nd bicuspids removed. The gaps for me were not that noticable for my upper 1st bicuspids. When I smiled nobody commented at all. Good luck Having the teeth extracted isn't too bad either!

I've got 4 springs now to close up my extraction gaps. Sorry to hear about ure pain. Like everyone else said salt water rinses and wax will help. My springs don't really bother me that much... but they did when I first got them! So u will get used to them.. Good luck

I went to my 5th adjustment today.. nothing major was done, just the springs and ligs were changed as well as a few photographs taken :? well ive now got a new orthodontist as my other one has left.... he seems kind and friendly so I think my treatment is in good hands. :) i asked how long my treatm...

ive got elastics frm my canine to my lower molar... its to shift my midline..

I had 4 premolar extractions nearly 7 months ago under local anaesthetic. It really wasn't too bad. Good luck!

I think it means ure teeth are moving. Some of my teeth are like that too and are a bit sore. So I think its a good sign

i think salt water rinses would be the best thing. but then again im not a dentist... but thats what i would recommend.

i haven't touched soda since i got my braces on big achievement lol

I've got my elastics at the 6 month mark to fix my midline as its a little off.

same here. whenever i bite down on my molar it clicks/cracks.

i think elastics fix this. im wearing 2 on the left side and 1 on the right side to shift my midline.
