Its called bruxism. My mum's had it for ages. She's broken ALL her mouthguards which she wears at night to prevent her teeth from grinding. Apparently it can be triggered from stress...

I haven't got powerchains... ive got springs and elastics instead. So i don't think i'll be getting them.

I have elastics now. The will hurt for a while but after they will be ok. Im so confident with my elastics I even eat with them!

I have springs and elastics on together so i dont know which one is giving me the pain the most. spacers weren't too bad for me.

Hi guys. Im nearly into my 6th month of treatment and although this has happened before it is happening more often now. Whenever I bite my teeth together they make a crunching sound and sometimes individual teeth are sensitive (pain wise) Im quite happy and the min because I think it means my teeth ...

I'm on the NHS and I go to a dental school. Its pretty cool

I have to wear them 24/7 too..... i can eat with them without any problems! but i have to change them only once every 24 hours.

I've got white elastics.
