yep I saw it on the news last night. Im glad ive at least started my treatment. My brother is also on the NHS like me and has had to wait AGES for his treatment which has not yet started yet. Lucyloop I go to a dental hospital too.

Why do all orthos think differently?? Now im really confused. Am I supposed to change them every 24 hours like he said eg every morning or at least 3 to 4 times a day?

How long is it before u can tell that the elastics have started working?

Ive got elastics to shift my midline..... what have you lot got them for?

My teeth are squishy too! But its mostly my back teeth.

I chose hot pink this time round!

I was pretty lucky. When I got my 4 molar bands on I had NO discomfort at all and I didn't even touch my supply of wax. But I guess no one is the same on this forum!

Yep same here sjsarre my back teeth are mostly the ones that feel spongy. Some of my front teeth do too! nvcarissa thanks for telling me that 'the spong feeling' means that the ligaments are breaking away from the gums. It makes me a lot happier!

My teeth are feeling quite spongy at the minute so I'm guessing that because of the new gear they are moving?

Same here! I got my elastics and springs on yesterday but I cant seem to tell which is giving me the pain??? I think its the elastics though....
