I was told I am in upper stage 3, which is supposed to be the last 6 months until they come off.
What goes on the last 6 months?

O.K. now I have brass colored archwires on. Does anyone else have them or know what the difference is.
I was told next appt. in three weeks I am starting upper stage 3, I was told that meant 6 months. Yea!!!

I HAD 2 EXTRACTIONS ON TOP TO CORRECT MY OVERBITE. AFTER 18 MONTHS AND WEARING ELASTICS FOR 6 OUT OF THE 18 MONTHS,I STILL HAD GAPS, SO MY ORTHO PUT E-LINKS ON TOP AND WITHIN 1 WEEK IT CLOSED THE REST OF THE WAY. I have had 6 brackets on top and 6 on bottom for the 18 months I've been braced. Next visit, 3 weeks, they are putting brackets on all of my teeth, he said to line everything up. My overbite is just about corrected. Does anyone know if this is getting close to the end. I'm telling myself another yea...

I asked the same question of my ortho, if I should double up on the elastics. He said absolutely not. Moving the teeth too fast does something to the root. Just be patient, I was and I am so happy with the results.

Just left the ortho. I had two teeth pulled on top to correct my overbite and I have been wearing elastics. It was mentioned that he is going to check my next visit to see if I am ready for an Ealy.
