Thanks Kiwi. I had never heard of self-lig brackets. That must be what I have because there are definitely no ligs on them (kind of small even though they feel big), but they are clear. I never asked because when I began the process, I only thought there were two types of braces...clear or metal. Ha...

I got wax at the grocery store (Albertsons). I think it is made by GUM and mint flavored. All of the wax was hanging up with the dental floss. I'm sure it's available at Walmart and Target.
