Dont really feel as though any pressure is being applied to them but I imagine thats when most of the movement is being done!? Anyway, just thought...

I have brackets and the wire covers quite a large gap to attach itself to the back tooth bracket (a bit like a tightrope) which the only way I can descibe it.

My adjustment isnt till 8th June so I dont know if he'll just re-attach it or tighten it?

Broken wire

Well...........After 10 days, I've broke a wire :(

The wire attached to my back tooth has come off the bracket! How long will it take to fix?

I'm going to phone the orthadontist tmoro so hopefully he will be able to fix it? Hope he doesnt make me wait as there's no pressure on my lower teeth now!?

Do you brush at work?

Do you brush your teeth at work? Just wondering as I dont need to floss just to the gaps in my teeth. On a Colgate leaflet I've been given about braces, it says brushing twice a day is sufficient. I'm going to take a small bristled brush with me to give them a quick brush to make sure there's no foo...

Is it possible for a perfect smile from this.........

I'm getting braces in less than a week but even though my orthadontist has said I will have a 'normal' smile, I've got something in the back of my mind which tells me it wont be possible to close the gaps totally?

Here's a picture of my teeth as they are now.

I've been told by my orthadontist treatment will take 18 months-24 months, I have a feeling it may take longer!

Anyway be gentle with me!

See ya around the board ;) I dont know if brackets is the right name for them? There like a metal bracket with a little hook on the side? They have been place...

Hello all, Just came across this website and have to say - it's great! I've just gotten brackets placed on my top back teeth and back bottom teeth and next week i'm getting a fixed lower brace. I'll be getting a fixed upper brace place on my upper teeth in a few months to close a large gap and a ove...
