Well, all went well yesterday. My teeth look great! I really can't believe their my teeth, they look so different from before. The lady started clipping of each of the brackets and it only took about 2 minutes, then I said "well that was easy". She said "No, there's a lot more to do.&...

Well in about 10 minutes I am going to leave to go to the Orthodontist for my debanding (woo hoo). It took a long time, but it will be worth it. I'll tell you all how it went after I'm done.

Someone I knew had braces. I always knew I needed them, but I never thought about it much. After the person I knew had them, it festered in my mind for about a year until I finally gave in and got them!

That's great news and I have exactly the debanding date! That's kinda weird! Show some pictures when you get them off.

It's not a meal...but it's bubble gum! I haven't had it in almost four years, and I am dieing to take a big piece of gum, chew it in my mouth and blow a few bubbles

At first I felt a little weird in them when meeting people for the first time. Now that I have been in them for so long, I have just gotten so used to them I hardly think about it at all. It's like they've become a part of who I am!

Of joining this site. I've actually been in braces for longer, but this site has been so helpful to me. I just wanted to thank everyone!

I could feel them in my mouth, and almost couldn't stand it, the first year. After that I have gotten so used to them. Now I am at the point where I have forgotten what it's like to be without them. When I get them removed it's going to feel weird !

Did he say the braces are coming off in June or are you getting that date based on your 28 month estimation time?

I was using white for a long time until the assistant said to me "Well, if you want them to be less noticeable, you should use silver not white". I'd recommend going with silver.

I understand where your coming from. My ortho told me I am ready to get them off, yet I have to wait 2 months. The thing that's odd to me is the wait time for you. 6 months seems like a REALLY long time for things to settle.
