Thank you for all the encouragement. :) I am hungrier than usual. I think it's a mind thing though. I had soup, oatmeal, clam chowder, tried to eat some bread and cut up hot dogs (my son cooked 4 me so I had to eat a little) and chicken salad. My first night was okay. I finally got the flossing down...

The asst that did my braces said they normally use a 14" wire but she used the 18" in me since they only did the tops to get my teeth moving. Can someone explain this to me? Has anyone else had this done?

I got my metal upper braces this morning with purple ligs. I have 2 appointments until I get my lowers on. I am so looking forward to being fully braced.
