Well I had my 1st adjustment today and surprisingly it went very well. I still have the purple ligs but most importantly I get my bottom braces on at my next appointment on November 28, 2006. I am so looking forward to finally being fully braced. Haven't taken any pictures. I am waiting until right ...

Well I have been officially braced for 1 full week.

Am I crazy or what? Is it possible that my teeth are moving? I can tell a slight difference in my bite.

I am adjusting to eating but I am always hungry. It's like I am not getting enough to eat.

I am looking at 2 1/2 to 3 years. I am not worried about how long it will take. I have lived with this unhappy smile for over 20 years so I am sure I can bear the time I am suppose to be in my braces.

I didn't have molds done. I had to have some pictures re-done right before they put my braces on.

I was wondering about that also. No one that was getting braces at the time I was got them either.........

My sons are the same way and they have great teeth. As for me, that's another story. My teeth are so crowded near my back teeth, that it was almost impossible to floss there. Thank you so much. I can't wait to see the new me. I am really excited about this endeavor. I can't believe I actually have them on. My 16 yr old is so supportive. He is like "smile 4 me" all the time and that is really encouraging.

okay KK: You are answering questions before I can even post them. I am so glad that you guys are here for me. I was wondering about that. The asst said no not to use the rinse but it was okay to use toothpast with whiteners in it. Didn't make sense to me, a whitener is a whitener regardless. THANKS :D
