Nope, I've never gotten any strange looks from any younger kids. They're usually reading or something and not even paying attention to anyone else. If they did, I probably wouldn't care.

Thank you guys. It really hasn't been bothering me a bit. I'm eating normally and it's not throbbing in pain either, which makes me happy. Now, I'm excited to start having the other teeth move and take it's place.

I had my upper left bicuspid taken out today by a dentist. I had to go all by myself too, which normally would freak me out, but I shouldn't have even worried so much. I was surprised that the injection didn't hurt that bad. And the actual pulling of the tooth was just some pressure... I didn't even...

The tooth I'm getting pulled is the upper left cuspid. I called my old dentist that I saw many, many years ago and got some more information. They do pull teeth and it's $131 per tooth. At least that's something we can afford. They use local anesthesia, I made sure to ask, lol. So, my appointment is...

So, I had my second adjustment last week and it went fine. He says my teeth are straightening up and looking great. I'm also going to get a new wire at my next appointment. And he says it's time to get my one tooth pulled. He gave me the number of an oral surgeon but we don't have dental insurance. ...

This is my second time with plain silver. I think I might have them try on some different colors at my next adjustment to see if I like them. If I do, I'll post a picture.

Congrats on deciding to get braces! I'm one of the people that hid from the camera and hated my smile until now. Everyday I can see changes, and it helps my self-esteem so much. Braces are amazing. Good luck and let us know how your brace day goes.
