Chew away!! It doesn't really get stuck. If you've just had an adjustment it hurts a bit, but in a funny kind of way, you can take your frustration out on it!

:oops: I couldn't face the staining anymore, and after some deleberation cut the tubing away from my wire. The tubing was only to stop the wire from rubbing on the inside of my lip (the ortho assistant persuded the ortho to be nice and put it on. Lovely of her, but wish she hadn't!). Not gonna touch...

Well, after only 4 days in braces the tubing that was put over part of the wire has gone a yucky orange colour!!! I admit, Ive had a fair few cups of coffee, but this looks awful!!
