Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while. My husband came home from Iraq about a month ago and we have been very busy! I had my 2nd adjustment yesterday. I posted a new pic in "Our Braces Stories". It looks like my teeth are going down hill. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ok, I had my second adjustment yesterday. I have TMJ, and I wonder if the braces are going to help it or make it worse. Either way, I want to straighten my teeth, so I'm just hoping for the best with the TMJ problem.

Wow! The pic of your teeth before you got braces looks a lot like how my teeth were before I got braces. I don't have my bottoms yet either. It has only been 4 1/2 weeks since I got the top ones. Hopefully I'll get the bottoms soon too. Your teeth are looking great!

At my appointment yesterday, they only changed my ligs and clipped my wire. Is that considered an adjustment? It had only been 4 weeks since I got my braces up top, and I have to go back again in 4 weeks to change my ligs again. I thought people usually went every 6 to 8 weeks. Does anyone else go i...

Thanks for the congrats! Mine was made of metal. It was a real pain, but now that it's gone I have cement on my tooth and now that's annoying me!...lol

They finally took off my bite turbo this morning after 4 long weeks!! Yay!! I hope I don't need anymore of those during my treatment. I'm just so happy it's gone!

Ok, I had my first appointment today since I got my upper braces on June 15th. All they did was change my ligs, clip my wire, and put a wire tie on my right front tooth.
