I got this. It should be arriving by tomorrow. I'll post my experiences with it until then. Got it for free since I have pts on my amazon.com credit card. It also got pretty good reviews on amazon so I figured it was worth a shot.

Here is what I got:

1) regular toothbrush with ridges
2) wax
3) floss threaders
4) some mouth guard thing
5) some laminated sheet showing what I cannot eat and what my teeth would look like if I did not brush
6) a mini bristle toothbrush

So envious of some of you guys....

Thanks for the replies. I tried it as suggested and I minimized the water spraying around. Can't wait for my flosser thing to come this Wed (ordered online) to try that. 10,000 vibrations a minute?!

Ortho said because that tooth was too far back and had too much pressure on it. 2) Same day as #1 where the wire came off the same tooth. Orth put a tie wire ...

Oh, thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that they were kind of the same things. Guess I will have them on some time later on then. Not looking too forward to that!

So I found an Interplax dental waterjet at Target today for $19.99. It only has one mode so I used that and by the time, I finished with it, it looked like WWIII in my bathroom. There was water everywhere, on the mirrors, floors, and counter. Is there a technique that I should do to minimize this di...

On a kind of off-topic note, are you supposed to rinse after using mouthwash?

I hate that Colgate Pro Health thing because it leaves the stuff on your teeth, braces or not. I just use Listerine exclusively now.

Hello everyone! I found this site by Googling damon braces so I'm very happy that I have found this site. So very insightful and a nice crowd around here. I do have a question about my Damon braces which I got on just about a month ago. I know that Damon braces are self-ligating, but does anyone kno...
