Jaw Surgery

I am booked in to have lower jaw surgery on the 30 March. Would anyone be able to give me tips and advice for how to deal with the physical and emotional aspects of the surgery as I am truly scared and am terrified of pain? Even little hints would help http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/4;14;4/s...

Mine go from top Canine teeth, to top back Molar. it is so much easier going top to top than from top to bottom, well thats my opinion anyway.

I haven't lost any, but I don't need to, and I can't really lose any more, as if I did I would look anorexic, LITERALLY.

I eat just as much as I did before, Just softer foods now are on my list (I was a sucker for Preztels and Corn Chips, I still eat them occasionally, but they hurt.

My friends were like, you have braces now.. for the first week, then its just become the norm... except for one of my friends, she is bummed that she didnt get to wear braces (she loves them and is very strange), so everytime I see her I have to show her my braces.

I had an RPE and I found that after I had eaten, I inhaled/sucked the food out from it. It was tricky with museli as it got caught in my throat when I sucked it back.

Talking should return to normal soon.

This is all the help that I can offer, as I didnt use any other method

I am having my wisdoms taken out during the surgery, so I will be ignorant as to which hurts more.
