Hey Everyone...just wanted to give a quick update!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Since it's been like a million years since I've been on here, I just wanted to give those of you who remember me a brief update. Well, next Wednesday will be a year since I've been braced! My how the time flies. At my last adjustment on June 26th, my ortho gave me class 2 rubber band...

Joney I think you're right, Jewel is just comfortable in her own skin. I remember years back when she first made a name for herself, her crooked tooth was a big issue. She always said that it was what made her unique and that she'd never have it fixed....just like her crooked nose. I must say, I do...

Mmh I use a range of lipsticks and glosses from expensive to cheap and haven't had a problem with it coming off on my ceramics. After I put lipstick on, I always put my finger in my mouth and close my lips on it (gently), then remove my finger . Any excess will come off on your finger and is easily...

I'm so happy to hear that you've made the decision to get a Waterpik. I was actually just talking with my ortho about them today at my adjustment. He said that he wishes he could make it a requirement for his patients to get one! He said the same thing as I was saying in my earlier post, it seems li...

I would definitely say to go for it... I think my Waterpik is probably the best investment, well the second best investment I've made for the health of my teeth and gums. The first best is my Oral B Triumph Professional 9000 electric toothbrush. I love my dentist for recommending that one to me! But...

Pastel pink makes my teeth look really white. I had clear ligs on my top teeth and pastel pink on the bottom, and it was amazing how much whiter my bottom teeth looked. So now I have pink on the top and bottom. It was kinda scary at first 'cause I got power chains top and bottom at my last adjustmen...

 Ha Ha Ha - Guess I have been doing it wrong after all  I have to say pulling it though looks more pain inducing than my way. Hey Delag , my ortho's assistant actually showed me, in my mouth, how to floss after I got my wires. And she used the threader and a piece of floss and only thread...

My time frame is 19 - 26 months. The cost was $5975.00, however I took advantage of the 6% cash or check "paid in full" discount which brought the total to $5616.50. I was only given one price, and that was for clear uppers (Inspire Ice on the front eight) with metal lowers. My ortho felt ...

Hey there Tin Indian ! I bought the same stuff at CVS a few weeks ago, dental mirror with a little black light on it with the drops to show the plaque. It was on clearance, so I thought "hey, why not?". I actually really like it. It's not like the Agent Cool Blue, that stuff tints my whole...

My ortho uses wire ties only on the teeth that need to be rotated or turned. They seem to make those teeth a lot more sensitive for the first couple of days because not only are those teeth moving, they're also twisting. I hate when the ortho assistant twists the wire ties tight, but as soon as it's...

I'm right-handed, but I think I seem to favor my left more...not sure why that is. It's not even as if I chew on that side more. Lately I've been switching back and forth depending on which side hurts less. I guess it's just one of those thing!

Thanks for sharing, rmwolf83. We won't ride with anything but a full face so I have no intentions of switching. I can live with some cheek irritation! Most injuries that occur in a wreck involve the jaw unless you're wearing a full face. I didn't want to mess up my face before braces. I couldn't im...
