Meggles, Any chance you can let me know which format your dentist used to email a copy of the Clincheck? My dentist has promised me still copies of the screen but doesn't seem to know how to email the whole thing. Thanks .... its so exciting isn't it?!!! :D It was sent as an .avi - a video file.

New update!!

I got my attachments put on today, and my 3rd aligner.

They feel a bit awkward, and it makes taking the aligner off much harder, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I updated my blog with a photo:

Hey Guys,

Invisalign, here I come!

Hi Guys, I figured I would start a thread tracking my journey using Invisalign. I was going to put it in the "braces stories" section, but they seemed to all be stories about traditional metal braces. I started my Invisalign journey nearly 2 years ago now - going to see the orthodontist fo...

Re: finally pulled the trigger...

Thanks everybody, and if you can't tell, i'm completely stoked that i'm finally getting this done. I've wasted 21 years of my life not smiling and being self concious about it, I can't wait till its all over. I know the feeling! I'm 22 and going for my first consult tomorrow for Invisalign. I'm SO ...

Hahahahaha! Invisalignee's post made me actually laugh out loud.

I'm due to go for my first Invisalign consult tomorrow, and I hadn't even considered the sexual aspect yet, although I know my fiance won't care.

Aren't there youngens on the boards though? :yikes:

I had a labret piercing for about a year. I had a fishtail which is apparently the best way to go, as opposed to a flat-backed stud, because it sits low and is shaped to your mouth so it isn't rubbing. However, even with the fishtail (and I put in a normal ring aswell) it rubbed my gums and receded ...
