I can understand your frustration/impatience with waiting. In my opinion though, a genioplasty alone would not look nearly as good as a lower advancement. A genio might balance your face out and give you that extra chin but your neck/jawline would look the same as it does now and you would be missin...

Hmm, I'm not sure how far they moved my jaw, but I know the genio was 6mm.

Perhaps you've answered this in an earlier post that I haven't seen, but just curious -- why did you opt for an implant instead of a genio? Or was that the surgeon's decision?
