I spoke to my orho today, and told him about the last bill. He was shocked that I got that bill, and said that there must be mistake in their system. So, Ill be getting my money back! :D

Hmm that is wierd. My surgery was done for medical reasons, and I still had to pay the patient's charge(egenandel?). Same goes for the ortho. Although my brace-stuff is beeing done at a private clinic so that is perhaps why the government did not cover that. Anyway, Im done with the surgery, paied ...

I think you're right that BSSO set-back is very common for prognathism in many countries. The procedure you're talking about is probably a vertical ramus osteotomy that is done via an extra -oral approach. (I believe this pre-dates the IVRO, and indeed that it also predates BSSO). Actually, it's no...

Wow! Long time no see! How are you doing? You remember me? I'm impressed. :-) I'm doing well, thank you. I've had the braces on for a year now, but I still have no idea when I'll have the surgery. It was sunny out, and after five months without seeing much of the sun here in Norway, well I had to go for it. Hi Yarr, Where did you have your surgery? I'm also from Norway, more spesifically from Oslo. I too have an underbite, and started the journey to have it corrected about a year ago. Althou...

I think Yarr's in Norway. In that case, I find it strange that he has to pay anything. I'm also in Norway, and am scheduled to have a double jaw surgery in the (near?) future. I'm not paying a single penny (or rather a single øre) for either the upcoming surgery or the braces. Both are automatical...

[quote="Meryaten"]I too have been looking at your blog from time to time, Brandy - it really is a great resource!! I'd looked at the link you're referring to (and before surgery decided to look away a bit quickly! ;) ) but the sad thing is as they're low res, it's hard to get a really good...
