I didn't need to use lip balm - my ortho smothered my mouth with vaseline petroleum jelly before we started so no probs there!

Awesome progress. I am on day 20 and my two front teeth were also crossed over like yours and have moved a bit - I hope they are side by side like yours by the time of my 1st adjustment on Sept 21.
