Just today my dentist was complimenting me on my "exceptional oral hygiene." Then she probed around some more, and said my gums were bleeding. I'm not surprised, because I had noticed some bleeding while flossing in a back tooth for reasons I just don't understand. I floss every single day...

What interesting to me is how people say they're not interested in perfection, they don't care that much. If you don't care, then why do you care if you still have braces on your teeth? Why not just go all the way? You'll never get another chance!

I have debated even sending this, lest this sound like some kind of fetish, but I'm wondering if there's anyone who, like me, [i]likes[/i] the pain? Yes, after a new archwire, eating is tough, but I guess what I like is knowing that with the pain comes progress. So I know this might sound wrong, but...
