this is worrying me as I wore my retainer for 2 months 24/7 now at nights for only eighteen months....?

I got my braces off three days ago, im now wearing one during the day, two at night, for two months...then ill only need to be wearing them at nights for about a year or two..i guess its different with all cases.

I get impressions done the day i get the bands off, then the retainer is ready two days later, theyve already made my appointments for it all, its strange he hasnt mentioned it!

These are really interesting reads, all the people i know that have had retainers, didnt seem to be bothered by them though! This is kind of making me wonder just a little! I suppose everyone is different, but maybe im in for a tougher battle than i first thought!

yeah i didnt find braces hard at all, but now coming on here and reading all the 'horror' strories about retainers im freaking out!!!!
