Hello, welcome to the group!! yeah i've been in braces now for 6 mths. I will be the big 40 in june. I have metal top and bottom. I felt the same way as you....but, it's no big deal now. When you see the progress that happens you will be amazed!! Good luck

Hey everyone I am officially braced now!!! :-)o I got my bottom braces on Tuesday!! They also changed my wire out on top with a thicker wire...so, i guess that's good too!! hello everyone. I need some advice about something with my teeth. I have a metal bracket on my backe molar, which is a crown. I have a bump above it, it kind of looks like a blister of some sort. It's swollen and hurts sometimes, but it hurts real bad when i brush that tooth. Could this be happening...

Wow i feel for you!! I have a spacer on my back molar. i was suppose to get my bottom braces thursday but, had to get a spacer and will be getting my bottom braces in 2wks...so i have to wear this spacer for 2 wks.....yeah they are no fun!!! Good luck

Thank you for all of ya'll's replies!! It makes me feel so much better to know that it's pretty much normal what they did for my adjustment. I think i'm just anxious to get started with everything!!
